Gnu and Shrew made the list of Best STEM Books 2021! I am so excited to share this news. I’ve been interested in science since I was very young. When I was in first grade I wanted to be a paleontologist. I soaked up all the information I could about dinosaurs. My father was a scientist who taught neuro-anatomy and radiology. He created the first atlas of the human brain for use with the MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imager). He also studied fish brains, including the coelacanth, and his research was donated to the Smithsonian Institution.
