Danny has been visiting schools for over twenty years, sharing his joy of reading and writing.
Students will sing, laugh, draw, and use their imaginations as they peek behind the scenes into the creation of a book.
In-Person Visits
Presentations are 45 minutes long, and a day’s visit includes four presentations. Extra presentations can be added, up to a total of 6 per day.
Presentations are tailored to three age groups: Kindergarten, 1st-3rd grade, and 4th-5th grade.
If 3 or more schools book on consecutive days, Danny’s honorarium drops by $100 per day and transportation costs are split between schools.
During this visit Danny shares:
-a sing-a-long
-His journey to becoming an author
-The story behind each of his books
-Ways to get ideas
-How to brainstorm an idea
-Questions and Answers
-and more
